Profitable Sites launches Maze Living into the consumer market and make their first summer online a huge success

The experts at Maze are passionate about all aspects of outdoor living and have been designing and creating premium garden furniture for the past 14 years. They focus on offering everything needed to create the perfect outdoor living space, including garden furniture, dining, sofas, loungers, outdoor heating, lighting, sun protection and more. 

Renowned for quality, they’d already achieved huge success selling to retailers and we were excited to be recruited to help take the brand to the next level.

The Brief

Maze Rattan was already established, with a well-known name in the world of garden living. It was the perfect time to move into selling directly to the consumer, via a new retail website, Maze Living. The implementation of an effective online advertising plan was essential to achieve their marketing goals.

As their digital marketing partner, Profitable Sites were tasked to initiate the transition, build the customer base and smoothly guide the business into its next phase, by creating a strong online consumer presence, hitting their perfect target customer and to drive sales.

Our Strategy

Maze Rattan had no history selling directly to consumers. This meant we were essentially working with a brand new account and – factoring this in – we set to work planning an effective and comprehensive marketing strategy.

Our goal was to grow their online presence and attract a suitable, targeted audience. Using precision demographic targeting, keyword research and geographic reach, we connected users who were genuinely interested in the products. And with continued evaluation and refining we targeted the ideal customer base, getting the brand directly in front of customers in the market to buy garden furniture.

We created highly focussed Google Ads Search, Shopping and Display campaigns to drive the right customers to the website, increasing the chances of conversions and overall success!


We reached multiple milestones for Maze Living – notably, exceeding their sales goals with our expert Google Ads implementation and management. 

We leveraged existing brand awareness to optimise their online presence. By reaching a highly engaged audience, at the end of a year of working together they’d smashed their year one targets. 

As the project progressed, we expanded sales opportunities from non-brand keywords to drive higher sales volumes. Data-driven insights using Google analytics were invaluable, all of which helped us achieve a significant impact on the business.
